What is Spasmo Canulase used for?
Spasmo-Canulase D is a unique bitabs form composed of an external layer that dissolves quickly in the stomach and a core that is resistant to gastric juice thus released in the small intestine. Thanks to this principle, the various ingredients exert their full therapeutic effect at the precise point in the digestive tract where their action is required to cover the whole GIT.
Methixene hydrochloride A new synthetic parasympatholytic, Methixene hydrochloride has a pronouced inhibitory action on intestinal hypermotility even in doses free from side-effects. Its therapeutic ratio is 4 - 20 times higher than that of atropine. An effect on gastric acidity has not been noted following the administration of therapeutically active doses.
Spasmo-Canulase D is used in irritable colon with or without intestinal spasm, and all symptoms associated with this form of motility disorder, e.g diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, anorexia.
Also, it is indicated in meteorism and all disorders caused by it; dyspepsia following biliary disorders; intestinal dysfunction and digestive disorders of nervous origins.
