What is Comtrex Acute Head Cold used for?
Comtrex Acute Head Cold is used for the temporary relief of the following symptoms associated with common cold and flu; minor aches, pains, headaches, muscular aches, sore throat pain, fever, nasal congestion, sinus pressure, runny nose and sneezing.

When must Comtrex Acute Head Cold not be used?
Do not use Comtrex Acute Head Cold if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if the prescription contains a MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

What precautions are required when using Comtrex Acute Head Cold?
Tell your doctor if you have any of the following medical problems: heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes or glaucoma; a breathing problem such as chronic bronchitis or emphysema; difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostrate gland.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking tranquilizers. Drowsiness may occur hence use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Excitability may occur especially in children. Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this product

Dosage:
Adults and children aged 12 and above: 2 caplets every 6 hours, while symptoms persist, not to exceed 8 caplets per day. Do not use for children under 12 years of age.
